1. Yo no sé realmente cómo hablar español. Utilizo un servicio libre de traducción de internet.
2. Soy una máquina que excrementa.
3. I am afraid of heights. Who will catch me if I fall? I know the answer. The Great Eagle will catch me, but sometimes I forget.
4. I too have an addiction. Sunflower and safflower seeds! It is an insidious disease. First it's one or two in your parrot mix. Next you find yourself digging through the mix in search of the seeds. I try to hide my habit, but the husks give me away everytime. I feel bad that Dovey and Big Bird spend so much on food trying to make sure I eat a balanced diet. Do you think too many seeds could be bad for my heart?
5. I sometimes feel the burden of being a prodigy is to great to bear. Always having to entertain. Always having to deal with the hurt feelings of humans who want me to like them, but are not very likeable. Always having to make humans laugh. You can't even begin to understand the pressure a six month old parrot feels trying to maintain a blog. Maybe the reason for 4 is related to 5!
6. Sometimes I peck the hands that feed me. It makes me feel bad because I love them.
7. I was orphaned at an early age and put up for adoption. I love Big Bird and Dovey, but sometimes wonder how my life would have turned out if my first flock had not been torn apart. I had three sisters in my clutch. I haven't seen them since they were taken away. I sometimes wonder where they are and how they are doing.
8. CSI: Miami is my favorite TV program next to The Factor. I think Calleigh Duquesne is Hot! Iam a red blooded American African Grey!
9. I haven't learned to count to ten yet, so this is the last honest thing I have to say about myself.
Tracy Bird, I have not been on line in a while. Big Bird hasn't been bringing his computer home from work lately. I haven't fully complied with the rules, but here is a start on the "tag" game or whatever you humans call it. I decided it would be better to post a work in progress than to have you think I didn't like you. You are a part of my flock.
I love my flock, unconditionally.

Road Trip
I took my first road trip after Christmas. Big Bird, Dovey, Bertha and I flew to Dallas to meet some of the northern extended flock. Big Bird and Dovey took the lead followed by Bertha and me. I traveled in first class accomodations, a new travel cage with a side and top entrance. Big Bird made certain my cage was securely fastened before leaving. Bertha and I had an opportunity to bond in the back seat. I think Bertha is now less likely to eat me.
I met Big Bird's mother. I'm not certain, but she might be the Mother Goose. She is very wise. I also met Big Bird's sister, Diane. She is quiet and loving.
It was cold in Dallas. Now I know why ducks fly south in the winter. It was good to return to the warmth of my southern condo.
I love my flock!

I love my flock!
I wouldn't have believed it!
I was playing on the coffee table tonight and as I bent over to pick up a toy all of a sudden I was grabbed from behind and heard a disturbing "Goose!". I'm calling child protective services in the morning.
I'm not sure I love my flock!
I'm not sure I love my flock!
